Holy Sonnets: Death, be not proud by John Doone

This poem is basically mocking death. Though in some lines it seems as though the poet is mad at death or in some cases testing death. For an example the line "and soonest our best men with thee do go". This to me is an insult, like the poet is mad that death has taken these men. All in all the poem is mainly mocking or making fun of death.
